It was an ideal hotel, I will choose the place for future trips. I was travelling to Blackpool for rest. I appreciated the breakfast time in the restaurant. It was wonderful, outstanding and in his bedroom.

Quiet at night..
I booked a triple room which was in fact a family room. This would not have been too bad had not two of us had to sleep in child's two foot six beds. We also had to climb five floors to get to the room.

all staff at southview very friendly a good breakfast only downside was the size of room the only word i can think of is compact, but as we only used it to wash and sleep was just ok for a two night stop

Characterful flowery decor, rooms very clean, good breakfast, friendly and efficient staff
Rooms are small but didn't bother us. Location was further from the beach than many places but still only 10 mins walk and quiet

I did not want to leave, so would recommend this hotel. I truly enjoyed that breakfast was excellent and included coffee, tea, toast, cereal, and fruit. The staff was very attentive and affable, the room was brand-new. It had very central location close to a 154m - high tower.

the only thing good about the southview is the location
The whole hotel was a throwback to the 70's, we had what was supposed to be a quadruple room for 2 adults and 2 children. It was 2 double beds thown into a room the size of a prison cell. The breakfast was 1 slice of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg half a tomato and some beans with a slimy undercooked hash brown. You weren't even trusted to haveyour own coffee. It felt like you were doing wrong when asking for another coffee for breakfast
